HACKRON 2025: The Leading Cybersecurity Conference in the Canary Islands Expands with Island-Wide Format and Enhanced Technical Focus
Canary Islands, June 2025 – The eleventh edition of HACKRON, the most established cybersecurity event in the archipelago, marks a milestone in its history. This new phase has been made possible thanks to a cooperation agreement with the Government of the Canary Islands, positioning HACKRON as a strategic node within the region’s digital transformation and cyber resilience policy.
With over a decade of experience, HACKRON has brought together more than 4,000 professionals over the years, averaging 400 attendees per edition and maintaining a 90% occupancy rate. Its active community speaks for itself:

📍 Tenerife: The Technical Epicenter of the Event
On May 29, Tenerife hosted the main day of HACKRON 2025, featuring a high-level technical program. The event was opened by the Government of the Canary Islands’ CSIRT-CAN with the keynote “Cybersecurity and Technological Innovation for 2025.” This session offered a strategic view of the challenges faced by the regional public sector, from protecting critical infrastructure to strengthening SOC capabilities.
Throughout the day, the following activities took place:

- Hands-on workshops led by industry manufacturers and professionals
- CTF competitions focused on incident response, featuring notable participation from young talent and local teams
