Description - What is CSIRT-CAN?
The Government of the Canary Islands has created CSIRT-CAN with funding from the Next Generation EU initiative and the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), highlighting its commitment to digital security and the protection of its citizens. CSIRT-CAN is a team of cybersecurity experts dedicated to protecting the public administrations of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands. We offer services for prevention and response to incidents, such as vulnerability analysis, incident management, and training. Thanks to our expertise and collaboration with key institutions, we strengthen the resilience of critical infrastructures and promote a proactive cybersecurity culture throughout the community.
For this reason, it has been decided to establish the Computer Security Incident Response Team of the Canary Islands (CSIRT-CAN), equipping it with security infrastructure to provide advanced cybersecurity services. This set of activities covers the public administrations of the Canary Islands and will be implemented progressively.
