Last Friday, November 14th, CSIRT-CAN held its first Cybersecurity Conference in Fuerteventura. These events will tour the islands of the archipelago with the aim of understanding the concerns and current status of the various local entities participating in the project. The goal is also to include those that have not yet joined CSIRT-CAN.

Technical professionals from all the participating entities met at the Polytechnic Center, thanks to the collaboration of the Puerto del Rosario City Council. After presentations by the project directors and an overview of the project's current status, the professionals shared their experiences of cyber threats from the perspective of smaller organizations.

With a clear commitment to the future and to the cybersecurity protection of all Canary Islanders, CSIRT-CAN concluded the conference with clear objectives for further improving its relationship with the institutions of Fuerteventura.
